Description
The Motorbike from the Lego Technic series is an extraordinary model, at least as far as the appearance is concerned. But one has the impression that something’s not right with the construction. I think it’s because the rear wheel is too far back. The design of the panel is also interesting, since it’s represented only by flexible poles, which are bent around individual parts. The Super Bike has a few functions, but other motorcycles prove that more are possible (e.g. front suspension). Unfortunately, the fun is soon over because the cogwheels which drive the pistons turn so heavily that the rear axle snaps quickly. What’s positive about this model is that the front wheels is wider than the rear one, and that doesn’t happen often in Lego Technic motorcycles. Also, the muffler is beautifully designed. All in all, it gets four stars in the overall rating. The Motorbike was already sold in 1997 with item number 8417 and under the name “Supersonic Bike”.
